Some Sarcastic Self-Promotion

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I've been sorting my card collection. However, we're not talking a few stacks, we're talking monster boxes. 5000 count monster boxes. At least a dozen. So it's a pretty gargantuan* task and I think I need a catchphrase to promote...I mean to describe the scope of the project I am undertaking.

Since the Weather Channel has felt the need to name winter snowstorms now (and thus making me an Winter Storm Nemo and Winter Storm Plato survivor in the process), it has gotten me to thinking that maybe in regards to my baseball card activities my marketing skills are lacking. I don't have a Facebook or Twitter account, so this blog is the only way for me to distribute useless information about myself.

So until I finish this wave of sorting, all references to it will be known as "Sortageddon". Now I don't forsee an end of the world scenario pertaining to me sorting baseball cards, so I'm really not using the term correctly, but if you think about it, we really haven't had an end of the world scare in a few months. That means the grocery stores probably have a surplus of canned food that we can rush out and buy just in case. Also don't forget to load up on guns and ammo. This is uncharted waters that we are sailing in. We don't know what is going to happen.

So there it is.

Sortageddon.

*Special thanks to the Weather Channel for reminding me of the word "gargantuan", used in reference to how much snow we were supposed to get a few weeks ago.
