We have collectible shows. There are dealers selling toys, Beanie Babies, NASCAR, Hot Wheels as well as sports cards. This brings in the people for the various hobbies. This supports the cost of the facility which I doubt if it was just a sports card show that it could do. It also provides an opportunity for the dealers to showcase these stuff to people who would not normally be interested. Overall, this appears to work out well for all involved.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7441850430909601005.post-17114005663881397202014-05-09T05:31:02.542-07:002014-05-09T05:31:02.542-07:00Card shows in my local area have been non-existent...Card shows in my local area have been non-existent since the early 2000's. From what I hear Pittsburgh still gets a decent amount but I haven't attempted to go yet. Between the vendor fee and sitting behind a table for an entire day, I guess I can see their point. I've always wanted to set up at a show, but I don't know that I'd want to do it on a consistent basis.

As for your finds, those Duracell cards are sweet. I have a couple of those myself. And you have to keep us updated on that box you bought. I'm a sucker for things like that as well.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508921644099472101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7441850430909601005.post-14324396411349596472014-05-08T17:26:55.736-07:002014-05-08T17:26:55.736-07:00I only go to a show 3 times a year, The Philly sho...I only go to a show 3 times a year, The Philly show in king of prussia, usually tons of vintage mostly baseball. There's always deals to be had just gotta look. I go in with usually a couple hundred dollar budget and tend to blow it all on some nice stuff. The airbrushed batting helmets always remind of pre-1982 football cards.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06896780361855961353noreply@blogger.com
